Most of the time they're not pitched properly to align to the instruments, heck! Not even the notes align with the soundbites! However the Main songs are just disappointing, all 3 of them are just midi remix of the repetitive themes in the franchise without changing any of their melody ( The MAD cartoon, PS2 title, NES theme respectively), the second song's instrumental isn't even remixed and is taken directly from its game of origin. I really do like the overall design choice with all the little reference to the franchise, like how each of the weapons that Spies hold in their poses correspond to the note's color, the Spy dress you gave to GF and BF, even how each Spies have their own expression based on their personality despite being palette swaps.Įven the outside of gameplay worth a mention: the Mose code in the logo, the soundbite from the PS2 game, the tiny cameos in the Menu BG, and of course the files gag within the assets folder.
